CMA Road Show In South Western Districts

The Comrades Marathon Association’s (CMA) 2012 national road show comes to an end next Wednesday, when the marketing team gets the runners of the South Western Districts all fired up to run their best run, come Race Day on the 3 June 2012.

The official Comrades coach Lindsey Parry and the crew will ensure that Comrades enthusiasts stick to their training regimen and constantly hone their running technique.

They will be on hand to promote the art and science behind a mighty good ultra-run at 19h00 at the Hartenbos Rolbaklub next Wednesday (15 February 2012). The workshop will be hosted by the Hartenbos Drawwers.

The 87th edition of the Guinness-endorsed greatest ultra-marathon will be a down-run from KZN’s capital city of Pietermaritzburg to South Africa’s playground, the city of Durban.

CMA’s Marketing Coordinator Thami Vilakazi says: ‘Our road shows are presented by experienced professionals who offer an exciting element of innovation and up-to-date information. Over the years, they have become a must-do for any aspiring Comrades runner.’

He adds: ‘I urge all athletes to attend the workshop in their area as our coach and the team offers easy to apply solutions to all running challenges and are equipped with useful and relevant information to make their Comrades training a breeze.’

Runners across the board have credited these accessible and free of charge workshops for their exceptional performances on race day.
